SLAF CTS DIYATALAWA CONCLUDES ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR INSTRUCTORS

The SLAF Combat Training School (CTS) Diyatalawa, successfully completed 20 day English Language Development Programme from 27 June 2025 to 21 July 2025. A total of 62 trainees took part in the course which is conducted under the Leadership of Commanding Officer, SLAF CTS Diyatalawa Air Commodore Rukman Dassanayake.
The primary intention of this programme is to enhance the basic language skills of Gunner Instructors and Drill Instructors who have been recently passed out and to make them more confident in their day today administrative formalities, especially those who are employed for Officer Cadets, Student Officers and advanced training courses. During the closing ceremony, trainees showcased their knowledge and skills gathered during English Language development programme.
Acting Commanding Officer, Group Captain Wasantha Lakshman graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Officers, Instructors and trainees witnessed the event.
