SLAF COMBAT TRAINING SCHOOL DIYATALAWA CONDUCTS ENGLISH LANGUAGE PERFORMANCE DAY
The English Language Performance Day of the No. 174 - C Physical Training Instructor Basic Course was successfully conducted at the SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa on 07 August 2026. The course was conducted thirty-five (35) working days with the objective of enhancing the trainees' English language proficiency. The programme was designed to groom trainees and expose them to basic communication skills, aiming to enable them to perform their trade-related duties competently.
The English Language Programme Day was conducted under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, SLAF CTS Diyatalawa, Group Captain Lalith Sugathadasa. The event was graced by the Officer Commanding Training as the Chief Guest. The officers, instructors and trainees witnessed the event. The participants showcased their language skills through various performances, demonstrating the knowledge and confidence gained during the course.
