Operational Performance Development 04/2013 Module for ten (10) Admin Regiment Officers in the rank of Squadron Leader was conducted at SLAF Station Diyathalawa from 27th May 13 to 31st May 2013 in order to enhance their analytical and operational briefing capabilities to perform operational staff duties effectively.

The course was conducted through the exercise “Green Rock Apes” (Designed with a given narrative), the participants were also involved in TEWT (Tactical Exercise Without Troops) and trained on operational planning, troop leading procedure, military map marking, leadership, analytical thinking combined with a series of model briefings.

Staff Officer Ground Operations – I, Group Captain DJC Weerakoon attended throughout the course and conducted a series of lectures to enhance Student Officers knowledge and skills.The course was conducted by the Officer Commanding Training Wg Cdr SPVK Senadheera and Chief Instructor Officer Training Sqn Ldr RAC Ranasinghe.
