Change of Command at SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa
The change of command at the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa was held today (13 January 2020)
The outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Commodore GGWTK Gunawardana RSP, USP, MDS, MIExpE, psc handed over the duties to Air Commodore C Wickramaratne RWP, USP, MDS, MA (Sec Stu-USA), psc. The outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Commodore Gunawardana will be proceeding for overseas training. The new Commanding Officer served in the capacity of Staff Officer Ground Operations 1 at the Directorate of Ground Operation before taking over command of the Combat Training School.
The outgoing Commanding Officer thanked all Service and Civilian personnel of the School for the support they extended during his tenure as the Commanding Officer.
