CHANGE OF COMMAND OF NO 2 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WING AT EKALA
The outgoing Acting Commanding Officer, Group Captain A Hettiarachchi USP, Pg Dip (Def Mgt) handed over duties to Wing Commander SKHC Sooriyaarachchi USP, MSc (Def & Start Stu), BSc (Mgt), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc. The ceremonial Handing over / Taking over Parade took place at the No 2 Information Technology Wing at SLAF TTS Ekala on 11 February 2021.
The outgoing Acting Commanding Officer took over Command of the Wing on 12 May 2020 and had served at the position for more than eight months. During his tenure he has taken many steps to improve the trade knowledge of Computer Tech tradesmen as well as improve infrastructure facilities of the Wing.
The Outgoing Commanding Officer thanked all personnel of the Wing for the support they extended to him during his tenure as the Commanding Officer.
