WELFARE FACILITIES PROVIDED TO THE SRI LANKA AIR FORCE EX-SERVICEMEN’S ASSOCIATION BY THE SRI LANKA AIR FORCE

1. SERVICE FUNERAL
• For the Funeral of members who have served in the Sri Lanka Air Force the period mentioned below, an Attending Party, and Two Buglers Ceremonial Kit to dress the body will be provided by the Air Force
1. Served for more than or equal to 22 years (male members)
2. Served for more than or equal to 15 years (female members)
3. Served for more than or equal to 20 years (Commissioned Officers)
2. HOLIDAY BUNGALOWS
• There is one holiday home in Kataragama with 3 air- conditioned rooms and another in Anuradhapura with 2 air- conditioned rooms and third room on availability basis for the use of the Sri Lanka Air Force Ex- Servicemen's Association members. To reserve the Holiday homes, contact the office of the Association. The telephone number is 0113355886. The availability can be checked via the booking engine in the web.
3. RESERVATION OF BANQUET HALLS FOR FUNCTIONS
• The members can get a 15% discount for private receptions and events, when booking Sri Lanka Air Force banquet and convention halls located at Katunayake and at Aththidiya, Dehiwala.
4. BAND AND PHOGRAPHY ON PAYMENT FOR FAMILY EVENTS OF MEMBERS
• For special family events, the members can obtain the service of Air Force Band, oriental musicians, dancing group and the cameramen at concessionary rates via a request made to Secretary of SLAFESA
5. PURCHASE OF ITEMS FROM WELFARE SHOP
• The members can buy items from Welfare shops located in Air Force Stations Colombo, Guwanpura and at Katunayake Base. Members should carry ID cards.
6. SPORTS FACILITIES AT SLAF STATIONS
• Members use swimming pool and some sports facilities.
7. AIR PASSAGES FROM RATHMALANA TO WEERAWILA AND FROM RATHMALANA TO CHINA BAY.
• Members can get this facility once in 4 months to either of the two destinations. application forms can be obtained via SLFESA Google page/web.
8. CLUB FACILITIES AT " RIFLE GREEN PUB, COLOMBO.
• Members can get this facility after obtaining details from HQ Unit Colombo
9. MEDICAL. AND DENTAL FACILITIES AT SLAF STATIONS,

2. EYE CLINIC and SPECIAILIST CONSULTANCY FOR HEART DIABITICS ENT etc. [# ONLY AT RATMALANA / GUWANPURA.]
3. Limited in-house treatment at SLAF hospital Guwanpura.
4. In house warding facilities at SLAF Hospital katunayake for a period of two weeks of payment for meals.
