Following a tragic accident involving Mrs. Alahendra, a Female Sergeant and member of the Sri Lanka Air Force Ex-Servicemen’s Association (SLAFESA), a wheelchair was donated on 15 February 2026 to assist with her mobility needs.

The donation was formally presented by the President of SLAFESA, Air Vice Marshal Hemantha Soysa USP (Retd), to a representative of the SLAF Ex-Logistic Association on her behalf.

The event was attended by the Vice Presidents, Air Vice Marshal Kithsiri Leelaratne (Retd), Secretary Mr. LY Dayawansha, and members of the Executive Committee.
