A meeting between the President of the Sri Lanka Air Force Ex-Servicemen’s Association (SLAFESA), Air Vice Marshal Hemantha Soysa USP (Retd) and the President of the Sri Lanka Armed Forces Veterans’ Association (SLAFVA), Lieutenant Colonel Ajith Siyambalapitiya (Retd), together with the Secretary General, Colonel Sujith Jayasekara (Retd), was held on 18 February 2026 at the Veterans’ Home in Battaramulla.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on enhancing welfare activities for members of both organizations, implementing upcoming projects for retired war veterans, and further strengthening cooperation between the associations.

To mark the occasion, the President of SLAFESA presented the Association’s official cufflink set to both the President and the Secretary General of SLAFVA.

The event was also attended by Vice Presidents of SLAFESA, the President of the Air Force Ex-Servicemen’s Regiment Association, and the President of the Air Force Women’s Ex-Servicemen’s Association.
