A special meeting was held on 04 March 2026 at the Air Force Headquarters to further strengthen the cordial and professional relationship between the Sri Lanka Air Force and the Air Force Ex-Servicemen’s Association (AFESA). A productive discussion took place between the President of AFESA, Air Vice Marshal Hemantha Soysa (Retd) and the Director General Ground Operations, Air Vice Marshal Ruwan Chandima.

The meeting focused on fostering brotherhood and unity between serving and retired Air Force personnel, with emphasis on strengthening institutional ties through the exchange of experience and effective human resource collaboration.

On this occasion, the President of AFESA presented a memento to the Director General Ground Operations. The Secretary of AFESA, Mr. Kamal Padmakantha, and Assistant Coordinator Wing Commander TM Sham were also present.
