Members of the SLAF Ex-Servicemen Association made a courtesy call on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe yesterday (13 February 2025).

The incumbent Hon. President of the Association, Air Vice Marshal Elmo Perera (Retd), Hon. Third Vice President, Air Vice Marshal LMSK Leelarathne (Retd), Coordinator, Air Commodore Amal Wimalaratne (Retd) and other members of the association visited the Commander.

During the meeting, the delegation discussed various matters pertaining to the welfare of Ex-Servicemen and their families. The Commander was briefed on the ongoing activities and future plans of the association.

The Commander expressed his appreciation for the association's continued commitment to the welfare of retired Air Force personnel. He assured the delegation of the Air Force's full support for their initiatives and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties between the service and its veterans.

The meeting concluded with the exchange of mementos and a group photograph, marking a significant moment of camaraderie between the current and retired members of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
