LANYARD AND CANE AWARDING CEREMONY OF NO.56 REGIMENT BRANCH TRAINING COURSE AT SLAF CTS DIYATALAWA
The Ceremony of awarding Lanyard and Cane for No.56 Regiment Branch Training course was held on 21 June 2025 at SLAF Combat Training School (CTS) Diyatalawa. The Commanding Officer, Air Commodore DMR Dassanayake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Officer Commanding Training, Group Captain AKW Lakshman along with all officers and instructors participated for the occasion.
A total of five Officers, seven Officer Cadets and five Lady Officer Cadets received the Lanyard and cane symbolizing the successful completion of their training.
During Commanding Officer’s address, he congratulated all the Officer cadets for their dedication, commitment and discipline demonstrated throughout the training period. He also emphasized the importance of upholding the core values of the Sri Lanka Air Force and continuing their professional development as proud members of the Regiment Branch.
