The Inter Unit Kabaddi Championship 2026 was successfully conducted from 22 to 24 June 2026 at the Indoor Gymnasium of SLAF Base Katunayake. The Awards Ceremony was held yesterday (24 June 2026) under the patronage of the Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal Amitha Jayamaha, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Demonstrating exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the tournament, SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura emerged as the Men's Champions, while SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport claimed the Women's Championship title.

In the Men's category, SLAF Trade Training School Ekala secured the Runners-Up position. In the Women's category, SLAF Academy China Bay and SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa were declared Joint Runners-Up.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of SLAF Kabaddi, Air Commodore Uditha Piyasena, the Secretary of SLAF Kabaddi, Group Captain Niroshan Kiriwella, members of the Air Force Sports Council, senior officers participating teams and other distinguished invitees.
