Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, the beloved wife of Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe is the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit and the Head of Advisory Board of Air Force Pre Schools. She is a proud old girl of Pushpadana Girls' College, Kandy. Before retiring, she served as a teacher in various government schools across the island and went on to hold key leadership roles, including Deputy Principal. Throughout Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe's challenging journey in the Air Force, she has consistently been his unwavering pillar of strength.

Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe has served as the President of Seva Vanitha in three main Air Force Bases, prior to being appointed as the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit. As the President Seva Vanitha during her tenures at Hingurakkoda, Anuradhapura Bases and the Academy China Bay, she spearheaded numerous impactful projects aimed at supporting deserved children in rural areas of Sri Lanka. Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe has been a dedicated advocate for the welfare of school children, pre-schoolers, Air Force spouses and families.

She has always been eager to gain the experience necessary to lead this women's welfare association. With great dedication and commitment, she is focused on serving the families of all Air Force personnel and civilians.
