A special donation of 10 wheelchairs was held on 27 November
2025 for the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit by Venerable Chao Chu Thero
(President of Los Angeles Buddhist Union and Bosath Children’s
Educational Foundation.
The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit commenced the Evaluation Phase of the “Clean
Today, Green Tomorrow” environmental initiative, which is a key project
of the Unit carried out under the guidance and leadership of the
Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe.
A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to
the family of Corporal Ranasinghe WGS today (21 November 2025) and the
housewarming ceremony was held at Madawala, Pujapitiya.
A Beauty Culture Workshop was successfully conducted today (13 November
2025) at the Main Auditorium of SLAF Trade Training School Ekala, in
collaboration with Dreamron Lanka Pvt Ltd.
The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit successfully conducted a Children’s Grooming
and Personality Development Workshop yesterday (02 November 2025) at the
Eagles’ Lagoon View Hotel, Katunayake.
The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi
Edirisinghe handed over Two (02) Wheel Chairs to deserving family
members of service personnel today (31 October 2025) at Air Force
Headquarters.
In parallel with World Children’s Day 2025, which fell on 01 October
2025, the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit organized the ‘Guwan Randaru Siththam’
Art Competition for the children of Air Force service personnel.
The SLAF Station Morawewa successfully completed a ‘Guwan Mithudam’ community development project at Mahadiwulwewa National School, Morawewa, yesterday (22 October 2025).
A Medical Oxygen Cylinder and a Regulator were recently donated at SLAF Base Anuradhapura to support the medical needs of the mother of Leading Aircraftman Sanjeewa Kumara GMMG (Operations Ground II).
