Under Community Service Projects, the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Vauniya, hosted a charity programme under the patronage and guidance of the Base Commander, Air Commodore LH Sumanaweera, on 14 December 2019 to donate the entire stationary requirement of 156 underprivileged students of the Mahakachchakkodiya Primary School for the upcoming year.

Continuing the tradition of benevolence rendered by the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Vavuniya this event was organized in response to the humble request made by the Principal of Mahakachchakkodiya Primary School seeking aid to fulfil the basic necessities for the children who attend the school.

The occasion was graced by the presence of the President of Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Vauniya, Mrs. Thushanthi Sumanaweera, Base Commander Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vauniya as well as Officers, Airmen and Airwomen of the Base.
