The 17th Phase of the Guwan Mithudam Project was successfully conducted on yesterday (20 November 2021) by SLAF Station Batticaloa under the patronage of Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.

The Gandi Park at Batticaloa Town was renovated as the 16th phase and handed over to the Mayor, Mr. T Sarawanabhawan which would be immensely beneficial to the general public.

The project was funded by SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit in association with SLAF Station Batticaloa and the event was successfully completed under the supervision of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Batticaloa, Group Captain GPNC Piyasena. The event was held with limited participants due to COVID-19 restrictions.
