The 21st phase of the “Guwan Mithudam” project was successfully concluded at the Sumangala Primary School, Pudalu Oya, Kothmale on 29 November 2021 by SLAF Station Piduruthalagala under the guidance of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.
Sumangala Primary School facilitates for approximately 80 underprivileged children in the area. The entire school was renovated with a new electrical wiring system and improvments done to the learning environment of these children.
This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and SLAF Station Piduruthalagala and the event was successfully completed under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Piduruthalagala, Group Captain Thushara Bandara. The event was held under COVID-19 health guild lines and with limited number of participants.
