A house constructed by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to Warrant Officer MGDN Munasinghe. The house warming ceremony was held today (24 August 2022) at Kurunduwaththa kadaweediya, Pallepitiya with the graceful presence of the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana.
This Project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit whilst the construction was carried out by SLAF Station Piduruthalagala. The overall project was completed under the directives of Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Udula Wijesinghe and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Piduruthalagala, Group Captain Thusara Bandara.
The Secretary Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Suresh Fernando, Officer Commanding Operations, No.07 Air Defence Squadron of SLAF Station Piduruthalagala, Squadron Leader Sanka Ranasinghe, staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and a limited number of officers and other ranks were attended for the ceremony.
