The 50th phase of the ‘Guwan Mithudam’ project was successfully concluded at the Siripura Village at Pavatkodichenai yesterday (19 January 2023). The Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
This project was undertaken to facilitate needy families in the Siripura Village who are having difficulty finding drinking water. During the occasion, dry ration packs for 35 families and stationery for 31 school children were donated by the Chairperson.
The project was completed under the supervision of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Batticaloa, Group Captain Pradeep Warnasooriya.
This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and SLAF Station Batticaloa. A cross-section of officers and other ranks at the Station, Staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, attended the occasion.
