Another effort of the "Guwan Mithudam" Project was successfully carried out at Divisional Hospital Vaddakachchi by SLAF Station Iranamadu yesterday (13 October 2023), with the guidance of Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa. This initiative aimed to enhance healthcare services for the local community.
The project involved renovating and repainting Divisional Hospital Vaddakachchi, signifying a significant step in improving healthcare facilities for nearby residents. Following its completion, the facility was officially handed over to Dr. T Sathayamoorthi, the Provincial Director of Health Services Northern, by Group Captain Sulochana Marapperuma, the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu. The successful execution of this project was made possible through joint financial support from the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and SLAF Station Iranamadu.
The event was attended by the Regional Director of Health Services, Killinochchi, a cross-section of officers and airmen of the Station and the hospital's medical staff.
