The new Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe assumed office this morning (05 February 2025) at Air Force Headquarters.
Addressing the team, the Chairperson conveyed her future plans and outlined her vision for the Seva Vanitha Unit, emphasizing the significance of family life of service personnel and their responsibility towards society and the entire Sri Lanka Air Force.
During the event, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe highlighted the paramount importance of supporting the well-being and welfare of the families of SLAF personnel. She highlighted the need for a harmonious balance between personal and professional lives and assured to strengthen the support systems available to the SLAF community.
The event was graced by the presence of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, who joined to congratulate the new Chairperson on assuming her duties. The Air Secretary, Air Commodore Priyamal Fernando, Secretary Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Randeni were present, along with other members of the Seva Vanitha Unit.
