Commencement of A Paper Recycling Project – SLAF Diyathalawa

A paper re-cycling project was
commenced at SLAF Station Diyatalawa with the intention of fulfilling
certain stationery items required by the Station and thereafter to
manufacture greeting cards, envelops and files folders by make use of
waste papers, card boards etc. This project was commenced at a different
location with a novel idea initiated by the Commanding
Officer Group Captain Janaka Amerasinghe
on 9th May 2012.
It has been planned to produce stationery items with a new aspect using straw, plant leaves, and petals of flowers in a different scale for the benefit of the organization using the creative knowledge that the staff possesses.
