SLAF’s Ranaviru Real Star Finalist - Cpl Imali Anuruddhika promoted Sergeant

The Air Force Commander has
approved the promotion of Corporal Imali Anuruddhika, SLAF’s
singing sensation to the rank of sergeant with effect from 23rd July
2012. Sgt Imali Anuruddhika was promoted in recognition of her
achievements outside her career field which brought glory and pride to
the SLAF at the recently concluded Ranaviru Real Star contest.
Sgt Imali Anuruddhika an Accounts-Clerk with 8 Years of service in the Sri Lanka Air Force was one of the top five finalists of the Mission II “Ranaviru Real Star” and was the only competitor from the SLAF at the grand Finale. She made it to the list of the final five competitors, despite being from a non-musical career field. However as all the other competitors were of exceptional talent as well, she was adjudged as the fifth in this elite group.
