Airmen Complete Flight Kitchen and Culinary Training Course

No. 10 Flight Kitchen and Culinary Training Course and No. 02 Advance Training was conducted for SLAF Gunners from 2nd August 2012 to 30th August 2012 and from 10 August 2012 to 30 August 2012 repectiviley at the SriLankan Catering Services Katunayake. The course was organized by SLAF Unit BIA with the guidance of Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters.

Indian Production Manager Mr. Pande and Australian Executive Chef Mr. Antony conducted the programme for the SLAF personnel.  As per the course curriculum the SLAF participants were educated on subjects such as Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, Bakery, Confectionery, Finger Foods, Food Safety, Food Hygiene and culinary artwork. The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of Chief Executive Officer of SriLankan Catering Services Mr. Sarath Fernando and the Commanding Officer of SLAF Unit BIA Gp Capt WWPD Fernando.

This valuable course has been offered by the SriLankan Catering services to mark the cordial relationship with SLAF.
