The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama conducted the Annual AOC’s inspection of SLAF Station Iranamadu during the morning hours of 7th June 2013. The Commander upon the arrival for the inspection was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu Wing Commander MMTC Manamperi and was afforded a street lining which was commanded by Flying Officer MADS Mallawarachchi.

 The Commander inspected all areas within the Station including the Iranamadu runway, which is in the nearing completion stage and appreciated the level of development of the station.

Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed the troops and awarded Commendations to 16437 Flight Sergeant Senarathna HAAR Ops Grd Sp (I) and 20162 Sergeant Wimalasena B Ops Grd Sp (I) to appreciate their valuable services rendered to the development of the SLAF Station Iranamadu.
