Airwomen Malkanthi Flying to Brunei with the National Team

Air Force Women’s Netballer, Airwoman Malkanthi UDC departed today (27th June 2013) with the National Youth Netball Team to participate in the 8th Asian Youth Netball Championship which is scheduled to be held from 30th June to 7th July 2013 in Brunei.
Airwoman Chathurangani Malkanthi has been a member of the Sri Lanka Air Force Netball Team, which has won all the Netball tournaments since the year 2011. Their accomplishments include ‘Net Champs’ Netball tournament 2011, ‘Reborn’ Netball tournament 2011, State Service Netball tournament 2011, 2012 and 2013, Defence Service Netball tournament 2012 and ‘Vanitha Wasana’ Netball tournament 2013.
Airwoman Malkanthi was a member of National Beach Netball team which consisted of six Air Force players and which won the South Asian Beach Netball tournament 2012.
