Airwoman Lekha Shehani won the Open Single title and Women’s Under 24 title whilst Airman Minimuthu won the Men’s under 24 title at the 61st National Badminton Championship. The championship was held from 01st October to 06th October 2013 at the Indoor Stadium of the Jayathilaka  Sports Complex,Nawalapitiya with the participation of 370 male and female competitors.

The Championship was organized by the Sri Lanka Badminton Association where the Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage graced the finals as the Chief Guest.
