In view of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year, Clothes and Shoes were distributed among orphaned children of the “Nanasarana” Children’s Home in the Diyawara Village at Katharagama. The event was organized by the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit at Weerawila Mrs. Mali Wasage together with the spouses of officers and airwomen of the station.

Further, shoes were distributed among all the children of the Civilian Staff currently employed at SLAF Station Weerawila. The children and their parents were also treated with refreshments after the distribution. The Commanding Officer Gp Capt MDJ Wasage of SLAF Station Weerawila also participated in both these events.
