No 06 Air Defence Radar Squadron SLAF China bay celebrated its 5th anniversary on 15th October 2014. The Squadron was established in the eastern region of the country to strengthen the National Air defence system in year 2009.

As directed by the commanding officer Wing Commander SP Abeyrathna, the anniversary celebrations started with an Alms giving ceremony at ‘Sri Bodhi Rajaramaya temple, China bay and followed by a Volleyball tournament.
