An eventful day of community services and recreational activities marked the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Koggala under the guidance of the Commanding Officer Wing Commander SC Wijayanayake together with all Officers, other rankers and civil staff on 19th October 2014.

A Sharamadana Campaign at “Divisional Hospital Habaraduwa” was held on last Monday kicking off the anniversary celebrations. The event was organized to meet the much needed requirement of uplifting the standard of the hospital, which treats an average of 250 daily.

The Station day celebrations began with a parade which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer. This was followed by a spirited Cricket tournament and a Net ball match which was enjoyed by all. Finally the celebration wound up with the all ranks lunch.
