The Closing ceremony of the Leadership Qualities and Positive Thinking through Theoretical and Practical Training Course that commenced on 30th October 2014 was held for the third batch on 18th November 2014 under the patronage of the Commanding Officer Air Commodore DJC Weerakoon.

The course was geared towards improving the self-confidence and leadership abilities of University Entrants.  Hon. Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mr. Nandimithra Ekanayake Mr. Sunil Gunawardena and Mrs. KG Badra Gunewardena also visited the School while the training was going on.

The drill display performed by the students was one of the main attractions and proved that nothing is impossible.  The participants were trained by drill Instructors in a short period during their leisure time. A variety entertainment show under the theme of ‘Snow Fantasy’ was arranged in a picturesque atmosphere making the environment snowy under the guidance of the Officer Commanding Training in order to highlight the hidden talents of the course participants.

The Director Training Air Vice Marshal NHV Gunaratne and Chief Recruiting Officer Air Commodore CB Labrooy also graced the occasion.
