The Annual Pirith Chanting and Alms giving ceremony at SLAF Station Palavi was conducted under the patronage of the Commanding Officer Wing Commander Nishantha Priyadarshana on 19th and 20th March 2015, concurrent to the 64th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force, 03rd Anniversary of the relocated EOD School and to invoke blessing to the Fallen War Heroes of the SLAF.

Religious activities of the ceremony were conducted by the Ven. Thalagolle Nanda, Chief Incumbent of the Attavilluwa Sri Sudarmarama  Temple, Palavi while 16 priests from various temples in the Puttalam district attended.

All service personnel of the Station, Government Officials of Puttalam district and well-wishers were also present at the event.
