Annual AOC's Inspection at SLAF Academy China Bay

The Commander of the SLAF Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the Annual AOC's inspection on 02 July 2015 at SLAF Academy China Bay.
This was the first AOC's inspection carried out by the commander after being appointed as Commander of the Air Force.
The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection, was welcomed to the Academy premises and thereafter reviewed the Parade commanded by the Commandant of SLAF Academy China Bay Air Commodore Sagara Kotakadeniya.
Certificates of Commendation were awarded during the parade to 13713 F/Sgt Kulasekara KNK (Air Frame Fitter), 25396 Sgt Welagedara WNI (Arm Fitter), 25929 Sgt Abeysinghe NHLH (Air Frame Fitter), 31686 Cpl Ranasinghe RMAS (ECG Tech), Mr. PT Arfath (Labour) for the valuable service they rendered to the development of the Academy.
The Commander, whiles the inspection took a seat at the Airmen mess with a cross section of Officers, Airmen, Airwomen and Civilian staff for the customary all ranks lunch. This was followed by the Commander's address in which he appreciated the commendable work of the Commandant and the staff in maintaining the Academy at a high standard and expressed his vision for the future of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
