Racing to the Finish Line
After 3 days and 450 KMs of fierce competition, the 11th "Guwan Hamuda
Papedi Sawariya" reached its exciting conclusion today (March 10, 2010)
in the ancient capital of Anuradapura.
The 3rd and
final leg
of the Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya flagged off today at Peradeniya.
The 3rd stage consisted of 2 Sprint challenges taking place in Dambulla
and Thirippanna respectively.
Spectators at hand
witnessed a
thrilling "photo finish" where the top three riders rode neck to neck
to cross the finish line within 2 seconds of each
other.
