Annual Commander's Inspection at SLAF Base Anuradhapura

The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the Annual Inspection at SLAF Base Anuradhapura today (15 July 2016 ).
The Commander reviewed the parade which was commanded by the Base Commander Group Captain VB Edirisinghe.
Certificates of Commendation awarded during the parade to 23694 Flight Sergeant Ranasinghe RDTS (Safety Equipment), 25287 Sergeant Sanjeewa PDJ (Administrative Assistant ), 44328 LAC Madushanka SASC (Air Frame), 022834 LAC Dissanayake DMKG (Aircraft Welder), Mr HAP Wimalananda (Labour) and Mr PUO Mendis (Labour) for the commendable service they rendered for the development of the Base.
During the course of the inspection Commander declared open the newly constructed Emergency Treatment Unit for the the SLAF Base Hospital Anuradhapura.
Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks including the civilian personnel at the Base and commended the work of Officers and the Staff in maintaining the Base at a high standard and emphasized the need to contribute their best to the Air Force at all times.
