The Command Media Unit organized two conferences for media coordinating officers and SNCOs of Academy/Bases/ Stations on 20th and 21st October 2016. 

The meeting was chaired by the Command Media Officer Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne, who briefed the participants on the role of the Command Media Unit and the role that the media coordinating officers and SNCO's are to play.  Future plans and expectations as well as issues and problems facing the media coordinating officers/SNCO's were discussed and addressed.
