The Sri Lanka Air Force rugby team triumphed over SL Army, 32 - 29 on 10 December 2016 in the Division 'A' Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament encounter at Ratmalana SLAF Rugby grounds.

Air Force scored their 32 points with 4-tries, 3-conversion and 2-penalties while SL Army scored 4-tries, 3-conversions and  1-penalty.
