As yet another community project and as part of its Sinhala/Hindu New year festivities, the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF RTS Vanni, conducted a community project at Pampemadu orphanage on 05 April 2017 which is located in the vicinity of SLAF RTS Vanni. The event comprised a Shramadhana Campaign, distribution of essential commodities among 20 children and 115 elderly personal at the Orphanage. The event was arranged under the directive of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and the guidance of Commanding Officer Group Captain KKAK Kaluarachchi.

The President of Seva Vanitha Unit SLAF RTS Vanni  Mrs. Lakmali Gunawardena led the visiting team. The entertaining activities by RTS Calypso band conducted therein were greatly enjoyed by the inmates of the orphanage. Thereafter, essential commodities and gift packs were donated to the inmates followed by a serving of refreshments.
