Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Station Sigiriya
The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Station Sigiriya today (07 April 2017).
Commanding Officer, Group Captain LHN Jayatilake received the Commander on his arrival through a street lining of airmen commanded by Flight Lieutenant NP Nonis.
The Commander awarded commendations to 019751 Cpl Dissanayaka (Carpenter iii) and Mr. MGL Dharmasena (Bungalow Keeper) for their meritorious contribution for the betterment of the SLAF.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station. On conclusion of the inspection, Commander addressed all ranks of the Station and appreciated their hard work, dedication and the standard they have achieved. The Commander encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standard of the Station during next year.
