Commander of the Air Force at Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara
Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy attended "Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara" – 2017, the School’s Tribute to war heroes held today (01 August 2017) at the Nalanda College premises.
Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy graced the occasion as the chief guest. Senior officers of the armed forces attended the ceremony.
Nalanda College conducted this commemoration ceremony for the 16th consecutive year to pay tribute and invoke merits and blessings for the war heroes who brought peace and harmony to the nation through sacrifice and dedication. Further, this ceremony extended solace to the kith and kin of demised war heroes and this year the ceremony had been organized by the Junior Old Boys' Association (NJOBA).
