The newly formed SLAF  Chess Club  conducted it’s initial workshop with combination of the  Sri Lanka Chess  Federation  at the Ex Serviceman’s  Conference Hall on 08 February 2018.
 
The workshop was conducted by the professional Chess Coaches Mr. SheltonWijesuriya and Mr. Prasanna Kurukulasooriya and 20 participants representing Six SLAF establishments participated the event.
 
Chairmen SLAF Chess Group Captain AN Wijesiriwardane, Secretary SLAF Chess Wing Commander DP Thalaketiya  and Asst Sec  SLAF Chess Squadron Leader  WMKN Wckramasinghe were present at the occasion.
