Flight Sergeant Boyagoda EMSL and Sergeant Herath HMW were awarded Commendations by the Commander for their outstanding dedication towards the SLAF. The newly constructed Office Complex of the Station was declared open by the Commander. He visited all areas of the Station including the newly opened Parboiling Rice Mill and Station Bakery.

The efficiency of the newly implemented Smart Identity Card was also checked by the Commander. At the end of the inspection the Commander addressed all personnel of the Station and appreciated their hard work in maintaining the Station up to the required standard. An All Ranks Lunch marked the conclusion of the Inspection.
