Commander's Inspection of SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy, conducted the Commander’s Inspection at SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni today (25 June 2018). The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer Air Cdre KKAK Kaluarchchi and accorded a street line.
During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the School and declared open the newly constructed Eagles Perch Driftwood Cabana and Armoury. Further, the Commander planted an Ebony tree in front of the ‘Eagles Perch’ to mark the occasion. Certificates of Commendation were awarded for meritorious contributions to the School in particular and to the Air Force in general to the following personnel.

On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed the Officers, Airmen and Civilians staff of the School. The Commander appreciated their hard work and encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals in future.
