Commander's Inspection of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Piduruthalagala

The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Commander's Inspection of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Piduruthalagala today (26 October 2018).
The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commandr DSC Fernando and was accorded a Street Lining on arrival.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station including Station Headquarters, No 07 Air Defence Radar Squadron, Station Warrant Officer's Office, Works Section, No 302 Regiment Squadron, Station Armoury, Equipment Section, Electronics Section, Warrant Officers' & SNCOs' Mess, Airmens’ Mess, MT Section, Holiday Homes and also planted a 'Bombu' tree to mark the event. A Certificate of Commendation were awarded to following SNCO for his meritorious contributions to the Station in particular and to the Air Force in general.

Concluding the Commander’s Inspection, the Commander addressed all the officers, Other Ranks and civilian personnel of the Station and encouraged all to strive for excellence and expressed his appreciation for all the hard work expended by all members towards maintaining the standards of the Station to the highest standards.
