Commander's Inspection of SLAF Station Mullaittivu
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Station Mullaittivu today (6 May 2019).
The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer Group Captain SPVK Senadheera and was accorded a Guard of Honour commanded by Flight Lieutenant WPPM Perera.
The Commander awarded Commendations to Sergeant Herath HMASK (Operations Guard), Corporal Wijekoon (Operations Guard), Corporal Rajapaksha (Telecom Technician) and Mr BRPN Weerawansa (Civilian) in recognition of their outstanding meritorious services towards the activities of the Station.
On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed all Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Staff of the Station. The Commander expressed his appreciation and encouraged them to set and reach higher goals in future for the betterment of the organization.
