The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana commenced Commander's Inspections for the year 2021 today (19 March 2021), with the Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Station Palaly.

The Commander was received by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Amal Perera and was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

The Inspection commenced with the Station Headquarters. Thereafter, during the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the Station. In conclusion the Commander addressed all ranks of the Station where he thanked them for their dedicated services to the nation and the to the SLAF in particular during challenging times which we are presently facing and encouraged them to strive for even higher levels in standards.
