A two-day Arbiter Workshop was conducted on 22 and 23 December 2022 for the SLAF Chess Team players by President of the Arbiter Commission and Vice President Chess Federation of Sri Lanka, Mr. Dayal Siriwardena and Secretary of the Arbiter Commission and Secretary of the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka, Mr. Erosh Jayasinghe at the Air Force Museum Auditorium.

The workshop was organized by the Chairman SLAF Chess, Group Captain BWDNM Samarakoon for the players to get acquainted with the duties and responsibilities of the chess arbiter apart from playing the game.

Certificates were awarded for the participants and mementoes were presented to the Officials of the Arbiter Commission as a token of appreciation by Secretary SLAF Chess, Wing Commander Nandaka Wickramasinghe.
