The SLAF soccerites had a great start to the Dialog Champions League with a remarkable 6-nil victory over Jupiters Sports Club- Negombo. At half time the Airmen led as the scores read 2-nil.

The match which was played at the City Football League ground was a one sided game as the SLAF took charge of the entire game from the start itself.

T. Damith Dissanayke and W.A. Sampath opened the scoring for the SLAF during the first half of the game whilst Pradeep Kumara, Rumesh Rangana, N.A. Gayan Kelum Perera, Shammugarajah Sanjeer scored four more goals during the second half.
