COMMANDER’S INSPECTION AT SLAF STATION IRANAMADU

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, conducted the Commander’s Inspection at SLAF Station Iranamadu yesterday (28 March 2024).
The Commander was received by the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore MPS Marapperuma, where the Commander was accorded a Street Line.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited the Station Headquarters, Main Guard Room, Sports Section, Air Defence Gunnery Training School, Airmen’s Accommodation Area, Equipment section, Airmen’s Mess, WOs’ and SNCO’s Mess, No 36 Regt Wing and Corporals’ Social Club. The new cafeteria was declared open by the Commanding Officer with the presence of the Commander. Concluding the inspection, the Commander awarded a Certificate of Commendation to the following Airman for his meritorious contribution to the Station in particular and to the Air Force in general.

In conclusion, the Commander addressed all the service personnel at the Station, and he thanked them for their dedicated services to the nation and the SLAF and encouraged them to maintain standards at the highest level.
