The SLAF Station Pidurutalagala celebrated its 15th anniversary yesterday (05 January 2025) giving prominence to social, and recreational activities.
 
The celebration commenced  with customary working parade which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Nalin Wewakumbura  followed by an address to the officers and other rankers of the Station. As part of the anniversary celebration the serving personnel conducted a Shramadana Campaign at Sinahala Vidyalaya, Shanthipura and Cleaning the surrounding areas of Railway Station at Nanuoya on 02 and 03 January 2025. In addition to that, a volleyball tournament was organized with the participation of the all ranks in celebrating the formation day.
